What does this fault code mean?
The road traffic information control module (RTI) checks that the data it writes matches the data it reads back. The code is set when they do not match, which is an internal fault in the RTI. The fault is intermittent, so the code does not need action if it does not return.
Possible causes
- Mismatch in the RTI between what was written and what was read back
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2If it does not come back, you do not need to do anything more
- 3If it comes back and the RTI system stays down, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the RTI
Symptoms you may notice1
- The RTI system does not work
