What does this fault code mean?
The navigation and road traffic information unit (RTI) has at some point lost communication with the CD-ROM player that reads the map data. The player did not respond despite repeated attempts. The fault is intermittent.
Possible causes
- The CD-ROM player does not respond to communication, for example because of a poor contact
- Poor contact or corrosion in the connectors between the player and the navigation unit
- Short circuit in the wiring between the player and the navigation unit
What you can do
- 1Check that the map disc is clean and undamaged
- 2Clear the code and see whether it returns
- 3If it returns, have a workshop check the connectors and wiring between the player and the navigation unit

- The information on the navigation screen does not update
