What does this fault code mean?
The road traffic information control module (RTI) has lost communication with the integrated TMC receiver, which sets the code. The fault is intermittent, and if the code does not return you do not need to do anything more.
Possible causes
- The TMC receiver does not answer the RTI in time
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test the car; if it does not return, no action is necessary
- 2If the code returns and the traffic information stays missing, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the TMC receiver and the RTI
