What does this fault code mean?
The steering wheel angle sensor control module has found that global values received from the central electronic module (CEM) are wrong. The incorrect CEM data is the cause, and the stability function is blocked while the fault is present.
Possible causes
- Incorrect data from the central electronic module (CEM)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With diagnostic equipment, check whether the CEM module has its own fault codes, since this fault concerns data from it
- 3Have a workshop fault-trace the central electronic module (CEM) system, since the data problem starts there
- 4The stability function stays blocked while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
Symptoms you may notice3
- Anti-spin warning lamp comes on
- General warning lamp comes on
- Stability control not working
What the fault can affect1
- Stability function blocked
