What does this fault code mean?
A checksum on LIN bus A shows that the signal is not correct, so the steering wheel angle sensor module cannot rely on the message and cruise control stops working. The cause is a communication problem on the bus.

- Communication problem on the LIN bus
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the cruise control are intact
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test with the cruise control to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop read the communication between the control modules
- 4If the fault remains, the sensor control module may need replacing, which a workshop should do
- 5The fault concerns the steering wheel angle sensor, which is part of the safety system, so a workshop should check it promptly
