What does this fault code mean?
A message is missing on LIN bus A, so the steering wheel angle sensor module receives no information over the bus, and the cruise control stops working. The cause is a communication problem on the bus.

What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the cruise control are intact
- 2Read and note the code, clear it and road test with the cruise control to see whether it returns
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop read the communication between the control modules
- 4If the fault remains, the sensor control module may need replacing, which a workshop should carry out
- 5The sensor is part of the car's safety systems, so have a workshop check the fault promptly
