What does this fault code mean?
The left and right turn signal switches on the stalk have been activated at the same time, which sets the code and stops the turn signal switch working.
Possible causes
- Left and right turn signal switches on the stalk are active at the same time
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the turn signal stalk does not activate both sides at once
- 3Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 4With diagnostic equipment, read the status of the turn signal switches in live data while moving the stalk each way
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the turn signal stalk; the steering wheel angle sensor is part of the safety systems, so act promptly
Symptoms you may notice1
- Turn signal switch does not work
