What does this fault code mean?
The sensor has not received the ignition key position signal that should come from the central electronic module (CEM). The fault lies in the CEM information, and the stability function is blocked while it is present.
Possible causes
- CEM sends no or faulty ignition key position data
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With diagnostic equipment, check whether the CEM module shows its own fault codes
- 3If the code remains, have a workshop fault-trace the central electronic module (CEM) system
- 4The stability function stays blocked while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
