What does this fault code mean?
The sensor control module has registered an internal fault in its timing function. The stability function is blocked while the fault is present.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the control module
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2After turning the wheel fully right and then fully left, set it straight ahead and read the code again
- 3With diagnostic equipment, read the counters: many incorrect driving cycles point to a recurring fault, few to a temporary one
- 4If the code returns, have a workshop replace the steering wheel module (SWM)
- 5The stability function stays blocked while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
