What does this fault code mean?
The code wheel in the angle sensor gives an invalid Gray code, so the control module has registered an internal fault in its reading. The stability function is blocked while the fault is present.

- Internal fault in the sensor
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2With diagnostic equipment, read the counters: many incorrect driving cycles point to a recurring fault, few to a temporary one that needs no action
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the contact reel with the angle sensor, and the steering wheel module if the code still returns
- 4The stability function stays blocked while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
