What does this fault code mean?
Analogue sensor 2 in the steering wheel angle sensor has moved outside its limit. The cause is an internal fault in the sensor, and the stability function is blocked while it is present.
Possible causes
- Fault within the angle sensor
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2With diagnostic equipment, follow the counters for the fault status; a high number of incorrect driving cycles means a recurring fault
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the contact reel, and the steering wheel module if the code still appears
- 4Stability control stays off while the fault is present, so have a workshop repair it promptly
