What does this fault code mean?
This code means the buttons in the steering wheel or other components do not match the car's equipment. The sensor compares its configuration with the one that the central electronic module (CEM) sends. The code can be set, for example, when there are rear wiper buttons in a car without a rear wiper, or when a button is pressed that should not be fitted to that car.
Possible causes
- Wrong variant of component fitted.
- Component fitted incorrectly.
What you can do
- 1Check that the buttons on the steering wheel suit the car's equipment, such as cruise control, rain sensor and rear wiper.
- 2If you have pressed a button that should not be fitted to your car, the code may be set.
- 3Have a workshop read the fault codes and check the configuration of the angle sensor and the steering wheel components.
- 4The angle sensor is part of the steering and stability system. Have a workshop carry out the check rather than working on the steering wheel yourself.

- A yellow warning symbol and text message show in the display
- The anti-spin and anti-skid warning lamp lights up or behaves abnormally
- The anti-spin function does not work
- The stability function does not work
