What does this fault code mean?
This is an event-controlled code, which means it is information and not a sign of a fault in the control module where it is active. The code concerns the LED on the driver's side, which sits on the front trim panel, on the inner side of the window, and it is set when that LED does not work as it should.
Possible causes
- The code points to a possible problem with the driver-side LED.
- The cause may lie in the driver's door module (DDM).
What you can do
- 1Start fault tracing in the driver's door module (DDM), since the code points to a fault there.
- 2Do not clear the code until the cause has been fixed. It can be cleared once the fault in the other module is gone and its code has been cleared.
- 3Have a workshop check the LED on the driver's side and its wiring, since this needs workshop equipment.
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) is not working
- Rear cross-traffic alert (CTA) is not working
- A yellow warning symbol and text message show in the display
