What does this fault code mean?
The module verifies radar data and can offset a certain sideways distortion. The code is set when the module is distorted beyond what it can compensate for, which is caused by mechanical distortion sideways.
Possible causes
- Mechanical distortion in the horizontal direction.
What you can do
- 1Check that the bracket or beam the sensor is mounted on is not damaged.
- 2Check that the sensor is correctly fitted to the car.
- 3Have a workshop calibrate the left and right side sensors, since this matters once they are correctly fitted.
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) is not working
- Rear cross-traffic alert (CTA) is not working
- A yellow warning symbol and text message show in the display
