What does this fault code mean?
The left or right module checks its configuration ID against the signal setup that the CEM sends over CAN. The code is set when the IDs do not match, which is caused by the module not being intended for this car, for example a used module with different software or hardware.
Possible causes
- Incorrect configuration ID, because the module is not meant for this car, for example a used module with different software or hardware.
What you can do
- 1If a used control module for the left or right side has been fitted, check that it is intended for your car.
- 2Have a workshop reprogram the left and right side control modules with the latest software, both at the same time.
- 3If either control module has been replaced, a workshop must calibrate both of them.
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) is not working
- Rear cross-traffic alert (CTA) is not working
- A yellow warning symbol and text message show in the display
