What does this fault code mean?
This is an information code and not a sign of a fault in the module where it is active. The code is set when the left side control module receives incorrect information from the right side control module. The fault may lie in the right side control module.
Possible causes
- The fault may lie in the right side control module (SODR).
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop fault-trace the right side control module (SODR), since the code comes from there. Clear the code only once the cause is fixed.
- 2With a diagnostic tool, read the fault codes in the CEM and note whether any other control module shows communication faults.
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) is not working
- Rear cross-traffic alert (CTA) is not working
- A yellow warning symbol and text message show in the display
