Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The right side obstacle detection control module (SODR) compares its configuration ID with the one the central electronic module (CEM) sends out on the CAN network. The code is set when they do not match. This can happen if the module is not meant for this car, for example if it is used and has different software or hardware.
Possible causes
- Incorrect configuration ID: the module was built for another vehicle, for example a used module with different software or hardware
What you can do
- 1Check whether the module is meant for this car, for example if it is used or has been fitted from another car
- 2Have a workshop reprogram the SODL and SODR with the latest software; both must be loaded at the same time
- 3When the SODL and/or SODR is replaced, a workshop must calibrate the control modules
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) stops working
- Cross traffic alert (CTA) does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and message in the display
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
