What does this fault code mean?
The right side obstacle detection control module (SODR) communicates continuously with the climate control module (CCM). The code is set when communication with the CCM is disturbed or missing. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is.
Possible causes
- Fault in the control module that should send the information (the sending control module), here the climate control module (CCM)
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 2Check that the CCM has a power feed and ground connection and that its connectors are secure and free of oxidation
- 3Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM) and see which network any codes for missing communication refer to
- 4Have a workshop fault-trace the CAN communication between the CCM and the CEM
