The right side obstacle detection control module (SODR) verifies its own software against the software in the left side module (SODL). The code is set when the software in the two control modules is not compatible with each other.
Possible causes
- Incorrect software has been installed in the SODL and/or SODR
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop reprogram the SODL and SODR with the latest software, since the software in the two must match
- 2When the SODL and/or SODR is replaced, a workshop must calibrate the control modules
- 3Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it returns after the programming
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) stops working
- Cross traffic alert (CTA) does not work
