This code is an information code and does not point to a fault in the SODR where it is shown. It is set when the SODR receives incorrect information from the left side obstacle detection control module (SODL). The fault therefore lies in the SODL.
Possible causes
- Fault in the left side obstacle detection control module (SODL)
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes in the SODL and sort out any faults there first
- 2Have a workshop fault-trace the SODL, since this code only follows from a fault there
- 3Clear the code only after the root fault in the SODL has been fixed and its own code has been cleared
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) stops working
- Cross traffic alert (CTA) does not work
