What does this fault code mean?
The SODR compares its configuration with the vehicle configuration held in the central electronic module (CEM) and has found it to be incorrect. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is, and the cause may lie in the vehicle's software configuration.
Possible causes
- Incorrect vehicle configuration held in the central electronic module (CEM)
- The vehicle has an incorrect software configuration
What you can do
- 1Read the fault codes, clear them and road test the car to see whether the code returns
- 2Have a workshop download new software to the SODL and SODR; if either is replaced, both must be calibrated
- 3If the fault remains after this, a workshop should load new software into the CEM and fault-trace it further
Symptoms you may notice3
