What does this fault code mean?
The SODR has found an internal fault in the memory where calibration and parameter data are kept. The fault is in the control module, and if it remains the remedy is to replace the control module.
Possible causes
- Damaged right side obstacle detection control module (SODR)
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 2If it returns, a workshop must replace the SODR
- 3After replacing the SODR, a workshop carries out the calibration; you cannot do this yourself
Symptoms you may notice3
- Blind spot warning (BLIS) stops working
- Cross traffic alert (CTA) does not work
- Yellow warning symbol and message in the display
