What does this fault code mean?
Intermittent fault in the driver airbag stage 1 circuit. The capacitance has been too low for a longer period, and the code is then set. The cause may be too low capacitance or an open circuit in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector.
Possible causes
- Too low capacitance or open circuit in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop check the wiring and connectors at the igniter, including the built-in capacitor
- 2Checking the capacitor in the connector is left to a workshop
- 3The airbag system should only be handled by a workshop
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all checks and repairs on it
