What does this fault code mean?
The fault code is intermittent, meaning it comes and goes. It concerns the left inflatable curtain, where the capacitance in the circuit is too low. The cause is in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector, which either has too low capacitance or an open circuit.

- Capacitance too low in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector
- Open circuit in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the SRS module and at the inflatable curtain for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Have a workshop measure the built-in capacitor in the igniter connector with an ohmmeter
- 4Do not touch the airbag system's wiring yourself; a workshop should carry out the check and repairs
