What does this fault code mean?
The fault code is intermittent, meaning it comes and goes. It concerns the right inflatable curtain, where the capacitance in the circuit is too high. The cause lies in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector, which is either too high in capacitance or short-circuited.
Possible causes
- Capacitance too high in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector
- Short circuit in the built-in capacitor in the igniter wire connector
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Have a workshop look at the connectors at the SRS module and the right curtain for oxidation and contact resistance
- 3Do not touch the airbag system's wiring yourself; a workshop should carry out the check and repairs
