What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module has for a longer period registered a voltage that is too high in the ignition cable to the front left side impact airbag. This is caused by a short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable or in the connectors between the module and the side airbag.
Possible causes
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the ignition cable or connectors between the SRS module and the side airbag
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, and test drive to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the cable and connectors for a short-circuit to supply voltage
- 3The fault may be in the cable harness or the side airbag; the workshop decides which needs repair
- 4The airbag system is a workshop job, so do not handle it yourself
Symptoms you may notice2

- An SRS warning message is shown
