What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module has identified a front left side impact airbag fitted in the car. The module is programmed so that it should not be fitted, so the programming and the equipment in the car do not agree.
Possible causes
- The front left side impact airbag is fitted, although the module is programmed for it not to be installed
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, and test drive to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop confirm that the correct control module is fitted in the car
- 3If no other fault is found, the control module is replaced, which a workshop should do
- 4The airbag system is the workshop's area, so do not carry out any work on it yourself
