What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module registers a voltage that is too high in the ignition cable to the front right side impact airbag for a longer period. This is because the cable or the connectors between the module and the airbag have a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Possible causes
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the ignition cable or connectors between the SRS module and the front right side impact airbag
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, and test drive to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the cable and connectors between the module and the side airbag for a short-circuit to supply voltage
- 3The connector under the front right seat is part of the workshop's check
- 4The restraint system is workshop work; do not carry out any work on it yourself
Symptoms you may notice2
- The SRS warning lamp lights
- An SRS warning message is shown
