What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module measures a voltage that is too low in the ignition cable to the left-hand inflatable curtain for a longer period. The fault is caused by a short-circuit to ground in the cable or connectors between the module and the curtain.
Possible causes
- Short-circuit to ground in the ignition cable or connectors between the SRS module and the left-hand inflatable curtain
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, and test drive to see if it returns
- 2Have a workshop check the cable and connectors between the module and the left curtain for a short-circuit to ground
- 3The workshop decides, if needed, whether the curtain itself must be replaced
- 4The curtain wiring belongs to the restraint system and should not be examined on your own
