What does this fault code mean?
The code applies to the rear left seat belt tensioner and is a configuration fault. The SRS control module has found a tensioner fitted there, although it is programmed for none to be fitted.
Possible causes
- The control module is programmed without a rear left seat belt tensioner, but one is fitted in the car
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Check that the SRS control module fitted is the correct one for the seat belt tensioners in the car
- 3A workshop must check the configuration, and may need to replace the control module if nothing else is found
- 4Do not work on the airbag system or the seat belt tensioners yourself; leave the checks to a workshop
