What does this fault code mean?
The SRS control module has detected an internal fault in the driver's seat belt reel sensor for a longer period. The fault is caused by a damaged sensor, which is replaced together with the belt tensioner because they share one unit.
Possible causes
- Damaged driver's seat belt reel sensor
What you can do
- 1Note the fault code and whether it returns after it has been cleared
- 2Have a workshop replace the driver's belt tensioner, as the reel sensor is replaced with it
- 3Do not work on the belt tensioner or the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop do the replacement
