What does this fault code mean?
The SRS control module has detected an internal fault in the driver's seat belt reel sensor over a longer period. The sensor is damaged, and because it sits in the same unit as the belt tensioner, both are replaced together.
Possible causes
- Damaged driver's seat belt reel sensor
What you can do
- 1Note the fault code and whether it comes back after it has been cleared
- 2Have a workshop replace the belt tensioner, since the reel sensor is part of it
- 3Do not work on the belt tensioner yourself; have a workshop do the replacement
