What does this fault code mean?
The SRS control module has detected an internal fault in the driver's seat belt reel sensor. The sensor is damaged, and the belt tensioner is replaced in the same job because the sensor is part of that unit.
Possible causes
- Damaged driver's seat belt reel sensor
What you can do
- 1Note the fault code with diagnostic equipment
- 2Have a workshop replace the driver's belt tensioner, as the sensor is replaced with it
- 3Do not work on the seat belt or the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop do the replacement
