What does this fault code mean?
The SRS control module has received word over the CAN bus from the rear electronic module (REM) that a fault code is stored for the rear left seat belt buckle. Fault tracing belongs in the rear electronic module, since that is where the information comes from.
Possible causes
- The rear electronic module (REM) has a fault code stored for the rear left buckle
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code with diagnostic equipment and note it
- 2Have a workshop fault-trace the rear electronic module (REM)
- 3Do not work on the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the fault tracing
