What does this fault code mean?
The SRS control module has registered a circuit fault in the right inflatable curtain. It occurs when interference is present in the circuit or the contact to the curtain's igniter is interrupted.
Possible causes
- Poor contact, corrosion or raised resistance in the plugs
- A faulty SRS control module
What you can do
- 1Address any other fault codes for the same component first
- 2Have a workshop check the plugs and wiring between the control module and the right curtain, including any other joints along the way
- 3The control module is replaced only after that check, and only by a workshop
- 4Do not work on the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks
