The SRS control module has registered a circuit fault in the left front seat belt tensioner. It occurs when interference is present in the circuit or the contact to the tensioner's igniter is broken.
Possible causes
- Poor contact, corrosion or raised resistance in the connections
- A damaged SRS control module
What you can do
- 1Address other fault codes that point to the same component first
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors and wiring between the control module and the left front tensioner for looseness, corrosion and contact resistance
- 3The control module is replaced only after that check, as a workshop job
- 4Do not work on the belt tensioner or the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks
