What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module has picked up an internal fault in one of its own functions. The fault is intermittent, meaning sporadic: the module recorded it earlier and then found that it was no longer present.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the supplemental restraint system control module
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code with diagnostic equipment and note it
- 2Have a workshop replace the SRS control module and program the new one, as it is delivered without software
- 3Do not work on the SRS airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the replacement
