What does this fault code mean?
The SRS has found that both the passenger airbag switch and the passenger weight sensor (OWS) are fitted at the same time. Only one of them should be fitted, and which one depends on the car's equipment.
Possible causes
- Both a passenger airbag switch and a passenger weight sensor (OWS) are mounted in the car together, which should not happen
What you can do
- 1Check whether both a passenger weight sensor and a passenger airbag switch are fitted in the car
- 2If both are there, have a workshop remove the component that does not belong to the car's equipment
- 3Have a workshop check which component the control module is programmed for and confirm that it matches after the work
- 4After the work, clear the code and see if it comes back
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
