What does this fault code mean?
The passenger airbag switch has an internal fault that causes incorrect operation. The fault is in the switch itself, and the PAD lamp may light together with the SRS warning lamp.

- Fault in the passenger airbag switch
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop visually check the connector to the switch for loose or corroded contacts
- 2Clear the code and see if it comes back
- 3If it comes back, have a workshop measure the switch and replace it if the readings are outside the permitted range
- 4Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop check it
