What does this fault code mean?
The occupant weight sensor (OWS) has an internal fault, which the supplemental restraint system (SRS) registers. The passenger airbag is then deactivated, and the SRS warning lamp and the PAD lamp come on. The repair means replacing parts in the sensor system, then configuring and calibrating it.

- A fault inside the occupant weight sensor (OWS) itself
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, and check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop replace the pressure sensor and module in the occupant weight sensor, configure SRS and calibrate the sensor
- 3Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the SRS and airbags
