What does this fault code mean?
The SRS module reports an inner defect in the occupant weight sensor (OWS). The passenger airbag is deactivated, and the SRS and PAD lamps come on. The fix is to replace the pressure sensor and module in the sensor, then configure and calibrate the system.

- Defect inside the occupant weight sensor unit
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, and check whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop replace the pressure sensor and module in the occupant weight sensor, configure SRS by storing the ID number, and calibrate the sensor
- 3Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out all work on the SRS and airbags
