What does this fault code mean?
The supplemental restraint system (SRS) has found an incorrect configuration in the circuit to the driver's airbag, stage 1. The cause is that the control module software does not match the car's equipment.

- Mismatch between the control module software and the car's equipment
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and start the car to see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop confirm that the car's physical equipment matches its software configuration; no component that should not be there may be connected to the driver's airbag, stage 1
- 3Have a workshop replace the SRS module if it has an internal fault
- 4Do not work on the SRS or the airbags yourself; a workshop should carry out all such work
