What does this fault code mean?
The driver's side knee airbag circuit is shorted to another circuit that has an activatable airbag. If more codes for other restraint devices are stored, they may show which circuit is involved.
Possible causes
- Short to a separate circuit that has an activatable airbag
What you can do
- 1Note whether other restraint devices have their own stored codes, then clear all codes
- 2Have a workshop unplug the SRS and knee airbag connectors and measure toward the other activatable circuit
- 3Have a workshop correct the short and check the link between the control module and the airbag
- 4Leave all work on the SRS to a workshop and do not carry it out yourself
