What does this fault code mean?
The SRS finds a configuration problem in the circuit to the adaptive steering column. The module software does not match what is fitted to the car, and the code reflects that mismatch.
Possible causes
- Module software does not match the car's fitted equipment
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the code, start the car and see whether it returns
- 2Have a workshop confirm that the physical equipment matches the software configuration; a part may be connected where it does not belong, or be missing from the setup
- 3Have a workshop replace the SRS module if it has an internal fault
- 4Leave all work on the SRS to a workshop
