What does this fault code mean?
The front left side airbag circuit is shorted to another circuit with an activatable airbag. Other stored codes for different airbags can show which circuit is involved.
Possible causes
- Short to another circuit with an activatable airbag
What you can do
- 1Note any stored codes for other airbags, then clear them
- 2Have a workshop unplug the SRS and side airbag connectors and measure toward the other circuit
- 3Have a workshop repair the short and check the remaining connections between SRS and the airbag
- 4Only a workshop should work on the SRS

- An SRS warning message is shown
- Warning symbol and text message in the display
- SRS indicator lamp lit or behaving abnormally
