What does this fault code mean?
The fault applies to the circuit of the right curtain airbag. The code is shown when the airbag system configuration does not match the equipment fitted in the car.
Possible causes
- The control module software does not match the equipment fitted to the car.
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop check whether the right curtain airbag should be connected to the control module in this particular car.
- 3Have a workshop compare the fitted equipment with the control module configuration and correct any differences.
- 4If the configuration cannot be corrected, the control module may need replacing; have a workshop decide.
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
