What does this fault code mean?
The code applies to the voltage in the circuit to the rear center seat belt buckle. The control module stores it when the voltage is too high, which is caused by a wire shorted to voltage, or by short circuits, contact problems and oxidation in the connections.
Possible causes
- The wire is short-circuited to voltage.
- Short circuit in the connections.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop check the connections at the control module and at the rear center seat belt buckle for oxidation and contact problems.
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the rear center seat belt buckle for a short circuit to voltage.
