What does this fault code mean?
The code applies to the power supply to the rear center seat belt buckle. The control module stores it when there is no voltage in the circuit. The causes are a break in the wire, and contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
Possible causes
- Break in the wire.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop look at the joints between the control module and the center seat belt buckle for contact resistance and oxidation.
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the seat belt buckle for a break.
- 4Have a workshop replace the rear center seat belt buckle if the wire is intact.
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
