Volvo models this fault code applies to
Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
The code applies to the voltage in the circuit to the rear center seat belt buckle. It is stored when the voltage is too high or when there is no voltage. The causes may be a wire shorted to voltage, short circuits in the connections, a break, or contact resistance and oxidation.
Possible causes
- The wire is short-circuited to voltage.
- Short circuit in the connections.
- Break in the wire.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop check the connectors at the control module and at the seat belt buckle for looseness, oxidation and contact resistance.
- 3Have a workshop check that the harness to the rear center seat belt buckle is whole, for breaks and for short circuits to voltage.
- 4If the fault is still present once the harness has been checked, have a workshop replace the rear center seat belt buckle.
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
