What does this fault code mean?
The fault applies to the rear right seat belt buckle. The control module reacts when the voltage in the circuit is missing, which can be caused by a break in the wire, or by contact resistance and oxidation in the connections.
Possible causes
- Break in the wire.
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections.
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault code and clear it. If it comes back, the fault is still present.
- 2Have a workshop look at the joints between the control module and the rear right seat belt buckle for contact resistance and oxidation.
- 3Have a workshop check the wire to the rear right seat belt buckle for a break.
- 4Have a workshop replace the rear right seat belt buckle if the wire and connections are intact.
- 5Do not work on the airbag system yourself; have a workshop carry out the checks.
